Here you can administer all devices connected to HomeGate. You can only connect products that have been approved by Safe4.
A device can show different types of status:
Active alarms: For instance: Sabotage alarm, Low battery, Power supply failure, etc.
Disconnected: If you have disconnected the device from the HomeGate, the device will show up with its own status. If the device is disconnected no alarm signals will be transferred to the Alarm Receiving Centre.
ADD NEW DEVICE:
Navigation: Left menu/ Devices/ Choose the + symbol up right/ Follow the instructions in the App and below.
Place a new device in the vicinity of the HomeGate unit. HomeGate will be put into scan mode immediately after you have chosen "Add new device"». This is shown by the blinking of diode nr 1 on the HomeGate. Follow attached user manual for the device by activating scan mode. When the new device is connected to the HomeGate, you will receive a notification in the App. Once the device is connected you will be able to access a registration window, where you have to add name, room, floor and reaction to the device. (Reaction is only for magnetic sensors and motion sensors). This information can be changed afterwards.
